Ember is the daughter of Hattori and a member of the Drama family. She is a renowned archer and combantant and one of the most important figure in the wars involving her family.

After learning of her brother Dusk's death, she undergone a period of darkness, targeting individuals potentially involved in his death. The first was Wu Shang, her grandfather. Ember had confronted the boss of her brother's killer, Nix, and with the help of Munin, they managed to finish him off. 

 

While the Alien was in custody, he asked for Ember's help as a policewoman. When she got there, she was forced to attack the Angel, who was the plaintiff.

She showed little to no responsibility when taking care of Mordex, the Family Dog. She abused him, providing chew toys she had sabotaged into explosives. During her dark days, her history of abusing him found its end during an encounter with Mordex. After he revealed to Ember that he is actually a time traveling cat, she kills him. A year later, Ember found him again in undead form, taking the opportunity to apologize for abusing him. The Family Dog did not accept the apology, as he made her undead.​

After becoming undead after her fight against Mordex, she found Wu Shang in his cat form and defeated him in retaliation for killing her brother. Desperate to put a stop to his granddaughter, Wu Shang sends in Ember's cousin, Stephanie, to stop her. A successful counterattack, Stephanie manages to kill Ember, trapping her in the Afterlife.

For two years, Ember had been stuck in the Afterlife, behind bars under the Galactic Federation's rule. After hearing the Sub-Leader approach her cell, she was released after the POD button was pressed, sending her to fight her own mother, the one who attacked him. After defeating Hattori in combat, Ember was being put back in her cell for "murdering someone." Starting to smell corruption in the air, she concludes that the Feds are the bad guys. Before her jailer finished walking her to her cell, she started a fight with him. Feeling weak from her prior fight against her mother, she steals the one known snowman in the Afterlife and beats him with what the snowman contained: sex toys.

After jumping out a portal from the Afterlife, Ember saw the Family Dog just outside the portal. Upon further inspection, he was not her Mordex, this one had to be from another universe. Despite this inference, it still made her scratch her head. After defeating him, she reunited with her sister, Diana.
